Training & Placement
In today's highly competitive environment, mere academic performance may not be good enough to get oneself a good job. Recruiters across the world tend to look for a combination of good academic performance and excellent soft skills. At Kings, we have a full-fledged Human Resource Development Cell comprising of a Placement & Training Cell and an Industry Institute Interaction Centre.
The HRDC makes an earnest attempt to help students develop their soft skills and thus increase their employability. The HRDC organizes special training programmes and workshops on a regular basis that focus on interviewing techniques, career development and psychometric testing.
In order to cater to the needs of the students from rural background, the HRDC adopts several innovative teaching methods for imparting communication skills and developing language proficiency of the students.
The active placement cell keeps in touch with prospective employers and organizes campus interviews. This year we organized interviews from major employers and many of our students procured provisional job placements even before appearing for their final exams! In fact, more than 85% of our students have secured good jobs this year. Now, that is something one does not get in every other college.
Our Placement Cell is in constant touch with various industries to enable the students to associate with them for project work, in-plant training, placements etc. A committee involving faculty members has been formed to improve the Institution-Industry relationship.
The Training & Placement Cell imparts exclusive training for students in various subjects to enable them to face the challenges of the corporate world. Specialists and consultants from various quarters are invited to offer training in communication skills, motivation and leadership skills. They also undergo group discussions and personal interview sessions.
A giant step forward...
Kings has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Recruitz Manpower Consultants, Bangalore to expand the scope of access to top quality companies. This MOU has increased the chances of most of our students to get placed in some of India 's Top IT based firms and other companies.
