The Research Centre of Kings College of Engineering has indigenously designed a 200W Windmill, first of its kind in India, that rotates even at 3m/s wind velocity.  Upon the rudimentary guidance from a Taiwan Company, the Professors and the students of this college forged ahead with this project to a successful testing.  The project was successfully carried out under the hegemony of the college Chairman,   Mr. T.R.B. Rajaa, Dr. V. Arumugham, the Principal, Mr. S. Sivakumar, the Vice-Principal, Prof. K. Anbudurai, and Mr. T. R. S. Muthukumaran, the Estate Officer.  Finally, the Chairman quoted that this project would really be conducive for the betterment of the nation. 

        The successful testing of the Windmill was carried out at the Kings College of Engineering.  The testing can be viewed from the video file attached herewith.
